Welcome to our reaction to the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer! This looks like the biggest, most chaotic look yet at Tom Holland’s next chapter as Spider-Man. After the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker is living in a world where no one remembers him. MJ, Ned, the Avengers, and everyone he cared about have moved on without knowing who he is, and now Peter is trying to survive as a full-time Spider-Man in a New York City that no longer knows his name. But this trailer makes it clear that Brand New Day is not just about Peter being alone. Something is happening to him physically, and the movie seems to be pushing this version of Spider-Man into darker and more dangerous territory. Between Peter’s changing powers, the organic webbing, the strange physical evolution, and the mystery around the new threat targeting the city, this feels like a very different kind of Spider-Man story. We've also got our first look at Spider-Man vs Hulk! A fight that will surely be one for the books! Seeing Spider-Man go up against Bruce Banner and a rampaging Hulk instantly makes this feel massive. The trailer turns that matchup into pure comic-book chaos, with Peter trying to survive something way bigger and stronger than him. Spider-Man has fought villains before, but watching him get thrown into a battle with Hulk makes this feel like one of the wildest MCU matchups we’ve seen for him. There’s also so much more happening in this trailer. The Punisher is in the mix, Scorpion is back, The Hand appears to be part of the chaos, MJ and Ned are still emotionally tied to Peter’s story even if they don’t remember him, and Sadie Sink’s mystery character is still one of the biggest questions surrounding the movie. This trailer is packed with street-level Spider-Man, darker MCU energy, and huge superhero spectacle all at once.
